City Park Jazz and FVMF

I had a BLAST this weekend!  I got to play 2 shows with Paa Kow and his band in Louisville and Denver, Colorado.  The gig in Louisville was at a brewery that loves Paa Kow’s music.  They have had the band out for both of their anniversary parties to date, and wanted to book them right after the show Saturday for their 3rd birthday party!   If you get a chance to check out 12Degree Brewery in Louisville, send them some love.  Their pizza is delicous!

Sunday we played the City Park Jazz Festival in Denver.  It was a wonderful experience.  They have a great sound crew, wonderful event staff and quite the draw!  There were nearly 10,000 people in attendance for our concert!  The band sounded great and played tight.  It was so much fun!

As some of you know, I’ve played the Blues on the Fox Festival a few times and have attended many times. That event is sponsored by Aurora, Illinois’  Fox Valley Music Foundation.  I am very glad to announce that I am now a contributing artist to the foundation!  This group has a great mission statement and has done a TON of work to keep the blues alive and well in Aurora.   Check out FVMF online for more information.

Thanks for checking in!  I just added some dates to the calendar for summer and fall.  I’ll be performing in Colorado, New Mexico, Illinois, Ohio and Texas in the next few months!
