JAZZ TRIALS!

The Jazz Trials event, hosted once a month at the Law Office Pub and Music Hall in Yorkville, has grown in a huge way in the last 11 months.  July 2017 marks the one year anniversary of the very first Jazz Trials!

In the last year we have had over 50 different musicans from Illinois, Indiana and Iowa join us on stage.  Ron from Iowa drove over 2 hours to sit in on the jam session, and Ed from Indiana has driven over an hour on multiple Thursdays evenings to play!  The jam session is held one Thursday a month – typically the 3rd or 4th Thursday.

Yorkville is a great hub for music in the western/southwestern suburbs of Chicago.  There are several restaurants and bars that host live music 3-5 nights a week, resulting in music being available to eager listeners almost any night of the week.  The Law Office Pub is one of the first music-focused venues in the area.  It features touring acts and Illinois talent every weekend and many weeknights.  While they don’t offer food, you are welcome to bring in pizza or burgers from any number of great Yorkville establishments.  The Law Office specializes in craft beer and concerts.  Plain and simple.

Every month, the Jazz Trials has gotten bigger and bigger.  We join forces with local groups for “Celebrity Bar Tender” fundraisers organized by the bar manager Rob!  We have raised money (through the bar patrons’ generous tips!) for the Sugar Grove Library, Kendall Country Veterans Services, Kendall County Forest Preserve District and several others.  I want this one year anniversary jam session to be a really special treat for everyone who is able to come.  I’m currently working on some surprizes and treats for the audience and this month’s Celebrity Bar Tenders will be announced soon!  The Jazz Trials are FREE and ALL AGES!  Walk-ins welcome with no cover.

Thanks for checking in, and see you all soon!
